ABOUT BARRACUDA
Working in the Gulf of Aqaba since 1993, Ahmed Qatawneh is the Managing Director of Barracuda Diving & Marine Services. A thoroughly professional man, whose experience comprises the small details. He has learned all the aspects of diving, its equipment and safety from the basics up, continually increasing his knowledge. Initially in the diving industry, working with and for tourists and locals, he is one of the pioneers in this industry, even involved with the legislation of diving and its standards, which are now applied as the laws of diving in Jordan.
Qatawneh moved into the area of Commercial Diving, with his extensive knowledge, as a natural progression, for one who considers safety, manpower and equipment make up all the aspects of his work. Having a passion to provide solutions to problems, he goes above and beyond in sourcing or negotiating whatever is required to get the job done.
Always building teams and maintaining a good working relationship with all those in his path, Qatawneh is now leading the industry, building a company able to compete in the market with state-of-the-art equipment, well trained staff and high standards.
